About Us

Hi, we are Hugh and Sherry McGowan, and along with our 5 sons
and part time staff we have created a home away from home
environment for dogs, cats and small animals. Our kennel is
designed to offer your pet a fun and relaxing stay while you are
away. Over the course of eight years Whispering Winds Kennels
has developed a professional and caring reputation among veterinarians and pet clinics in the northwest suburban
Chicago area.  

We at Whispering Winds Kennel strive to keep all of our guests
comfortable, clean and happy during their stay. We take the
responsibility of caring for your pet very seriously and hope
you will be able to see this in our dedication to making your pet
an extension of our family. Whispering Winds is a family owned
and operated kennel staffed by people who enjoy and care about
pets. All of us have pets of our own and know how important a
good boarding experience is for your animals.
